Long Live Synodality! with Dr. Massimo Faggioli

On Tuesday, December 10 at 7 PM, Dr. Faggioli will present an analysis of the Synodal process that started in 2021 and of the second assembly of the Synod of October: what has been done, what remains to be done for a synodal conversion of the Church in terms both of structure reforms and of cultural changes?

This program will be presented via Zoom only.  Registration is required:  https://gacc.retreatportal.com/events/f?p=101:2:5292649182527::::PROGRAM_ID:7644

The Synod on Synodality

Background:  In October 2021, Pope Francis called the Church to join in a “Synod on Synodality,” a three-year process for the entire church to pray, listen to each other and walk together as we move forward in the life of the Church. A small group of lay people at Glastonbury Abbey answered that call and formed The Lay Synod Initiative. It is important to remember that the synodal process does not end when the report from Rome comes out in 2024. Therefore, there will be many updates to these pages.
