In Search of Melody: Reweaving the Bonds of Human Community in 2022

To quote Rabbi Burger, “I was Elie Wiesel’s student and although he died in July of 2016, I still am.” Rabbi Burger was Elie Wiesel’s Teaching Fellow at Boston University from 2003-2008, and indeed, continues to weave the wisdom, experience, and integrity of Wiesel into his current work of teaching and facilitating workshops worldwide. As our societies struggle with issues of polarization, discord, and an increasing inability to communicate across differences, Rabbi Burger explores the tools, methods, text, and tales that can help us. Drawing on Jewish mystical teachings and the wisdom of Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel, Rabbi Dr. Ariel Burger will offer a vision of nurturing our shared humanity.
